We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand the SAS market share in the DACH region and to establish a strong network to customers and partners to drive sustainable financial growth. You will have the dedication to create and apply an effective go to market strategy in collaboration with sales management, presales, consulting, marketing and various other stakeholders within and beyond the DACH organization.
Develop a growth strategy focused both on new customer win and expansion of the SAS usage within the existing customer base
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Align market needs with SAS capabilities and educate both the SAS salesforce and customers
Collaborate effectively with account managers to strengthen value propositions and offerings to meet customer requirements
Establish and leverage networks to key prospects, customers, partners and the academic community to promote the company’s products/solutions/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Facilitate team work within sales, presales, consulting and marketing department to increase the effectiveness of the go to market strategy
Proven working experience as a business development manager or a relevant role
Profound knowledge of manufacturing processes
Established customer network in manufacturing industry
Software solution sales or business consulting experience (business analytics preferred)
Sound knowledge of the DACH manufacturing market with an established network
Proficiency in English
Readiness to travel (mainly within DACH region)
