    Role Purpose

    An exciting opportunity to join a growing, high-performing team with a specific responsibility for selling the breadth of the SAS portfolio to the DACH Public Sector. This will include the areas of; digital transformation, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, working for the leader in analytics, SAS software.


    This is a senior sales position, previous experience in Public Sector is essential, as is being comfortable communicating with senior directors and the C-Suite. Product knowledge is less important than an understanding of the power of data and analytics to improve decision-making, enhance public services and reduce costs. The role will draw upon previous working experience with system integrators, consultancies, software businesses or application developers to provide trusted advice to Public Sector departments on how to deliver technology programmes that deliver measurable benefits.

    Working as part of the DACH public sector team will present you with the opportunity to drive change, deliver strategic value and broaden your knowledge in the following domains:

    • Analytics & AI – the fastest route to predict, optimise and automate at scale
    • Customer Experience – capitalise on every opportunity to understand customers behaviour and sentiment to deliver amazing experiences

    • Regulation – Work with leading solutions to the demands of regulations
    • Cyber – Protecting customer data and public sector reputations

    This role is based from one of our offices in Germany, preferably Heidelberg, and will require travel across the DACH region to meet with customers.
